Back to Square One

It's been an interesting year.  As with so many other places in life, things get better.  Things get worse.

Things are a ton better than they were last year.  I think for just about everyone 2020 was a year we're all glad to have in the rear view mirror.

However, due to a ton of abrupt changes in my life, it's led to less time behind bars.  Fortunately, there's still the always reliable Thursday Night to look forward to.  And there's always Santan right around the corner.  

I managed to get out there last night on the single speed.  Apparently, I felt the need to beat myself up a bit.  Weather was great.  In this chaotic life, it was nice to clear some headspace.

Hopefully, this will light a spark and lead both towards more riding and more writing.
